Admission Requirement:

Interview is required prior to be accpeted for admission.

• High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED, California State Proficiency Test, etc.)
• Ability-to-Benefit (ATB): Non-High School Graduates or GED equivalent are considered students subject to the Ability-to-Benefit guidelines. Applicants enrolling in the Instructor Training program must possess a High School diploma or its equivalent and a valid Cosmetology license.
• Pass an admission test (MILADY) with a minimum score of 70% as stated in the test publisher guidelines. Students who failed the test may be re-tested after a ten-day waiting period.
  
  

The final determination on admission of an applicant is based on test results, prior education, motivation, and general aptitude for their selected program of study.  Each applicant is assessed individually.  The school does not deny admission on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, religion, sex, age, national origin or residence.
