Skin Care Specialist has been ranked the 8th fastest growing occupation
Due to the bad economy, many people are losing their jobs and seeking for new jobs. In the meantime, many of them are either going back to school or looking forward to learn some new skills which could help them gain more competitive advantage.
All industries seem to be affected by the bad economy, however the beauty industry has not been affected as much as other industries.
According to an article posted on career builder's website, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has identified 20 jobs that are expected to grow rapidly between now and 2018. One of the 20 jobs was Skin Care Specialist, with an annual median salary of $28,730. In the article it has mentioned that the reason why they are growing is because spas and other cosmetic centers are expanding at fast pace, therefore skin care specialists are in high demand.
